Baked Donuts Recipe

Is there anything higher than a donut ?

These Baked Vanilla Glazed Cupcakes are super smooth to make. All you want is bowls, an egg beater, and a donut tray. If you don't own one, you'll want to get one ASAP. You'll have a clean donut that's baked in less than 20 minutes and is healthier than fried. In addition to being so pretty, you may honestly have a smile on your face!

I like to put a pastry bag to pour the mixture into the donut tray, but you can also use a spoon or a ziplock bag. Cut a hollow in one of the corners and scoop the mixture into the pan. Be careful now you don't overfill the pan cavities, or else the holes on the inside will get close to the middle.

* ingredients :

° 2 1 cup 2 cups all-purpose flour, divided, plus extra flour*
° 1/4 cup granulated sugar
° 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (1 sachet = 7 grams)
° 2/3 cup hot milk 110°F - microwave 36 seconds.
° Four tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, divided
° 2 egg yolks
° 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
° 1/3 cup of jelly or jam (without the huge fruit portions)
1/3 cup granulated sugar for donut wrap

* Directions :

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 1/4 teaspoons (1 sachet) instant yeast and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Add milk to heat, 3 tablespoons melted butter, 2 egg yolks, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and whisk well.

Cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, until a few bubbles form on the floor.

Add 1 1/2 cup flour, including just enough so the dough holds together and doesn't stick to the sides of the bowl. Knead in a bowl for five minutes. If the dough is already sticking to your hands, sprinkle a little more flour and then keep the kneading with clean, dry hands. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it up in a 100°F oven for forty-five minutes or at room temperature for half an hour, or until doubled in size.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 375°F with a rack in the middle of the oven.

Flip the dough onto a floured floor and roll the dough to a half inch. Cut out circles using a 2-and-a-half-inch ball cookie cutter. Re-roll the confetti if it's important to make 12 donuts. Place the treats on an organized baking tray, cover with a tea towel and go away to the top in a 100°F oven for 20 minutes or at room temperature 45 minutes, or until puffed. Bake in the center of a preheated 375°F oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

Straight from the oven, brush warm bread with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and roll in a bowl of sugar to coat with a little sugar. Cut a slit deep inside the side of each donut and tube jam with a pastry bag in each one.

Enjoy !
