Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes Recipe




My mother always tries to provide delicious food for us and our family.Put the pork chops and mashed potatoes in the baking dish! An excellent family meal that pleases everyone.

Simple and easy!My whole family loves this recipe, if I can, I will cook every day! Try it, you will like it! To prepare this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
 
* ingredients :

° 3 tablespoons butter
° 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
° 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/4 teaspoon pepper
° 1 can (13-1/3 ounce) chicken broth
° 6 ham or sirloin steaks (3/4 inch thick)
° 2 tablespoons canola oil
° Extra salt and pepper, optional6 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
° 1 medium onion, sliced
° Paprika and fresh chopped parsley, optional
 
* Directions :

In a skillet, melt butter; Stir In flour, salt, also pepper to blending is smooth. Adding broth.Bring to  boil, cooking & stirring about 1 minute, To clumps are firm.Begin pot and set apart .In saucepan, frying pork chops on both siides in oil; seasoning with salt / pepper.  Grease 13 * 9 inches.Casserole, potatoes and onion layers.Pour the broth in layers. Put pork chops on top.Covering & baking at 350 degrees about 1 h ; openning  cover and bake for 31 minutes .Sprinkle with chili powder and parsley to taste.

+ Cooking Skills Tip  
Mandolin can cut potatoes and onions quickly.Ribs are recommended because they have more fat than smaller fillets.Even if they are cooked for a long time, they tend to have a strong aroma.Bonus: usually cheaper!
