TACO STUFFED SHELLS




Made with jumbo pasta shells, sauce, cheese, and meat tacos, these cheesy shells are the perfect easy meal to make ahead of time!

Stuffed taco shells are an easy dinner of jumbo pasta shells stuffed with ground beef. With just the addition of taco seasoning, sauce, and cheese, your family will order this dish in your regular rotation. This is a size XL on the famous Cheesy Taco!

I love using Guapo's popular Fresh Fresh Pico de Gallo in this easy store-bought filling or salsa recipe. You can also swap out the sauce in this recipe in a 1 to 1 ratio with your favorite homemade Quick Enchilada sauce to make taco shells stuffed with enchilada sauce.

If you're looking for an alternative to shredded cheese or to mix things up a bit, you can definitely make tacos crusts stuffed with velveta or nachos, too. Even better, you can just double up on the shredded cheddar cheese and have taco shells stuffed with cheese.
Or if you want something a little different, you can also make Mexican peppers stuffed with all the flavors of tacos but none of the pasta!

* ingredients :

° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 packet taco seasoning
° 1 4 ounce package of cream cheese
° 12 large pasta crusts
° 1 cup sauce
° 1 cup taco sauce
° 1 cup cheese (grated)
° 2 c cheese Monterey Jack (grated)
° 1 cup tortilla chips (crushed)
° 3 green onions (chopped)
° 1 cup sour cream

* Directions :

In skillet, cook ground beef, add taco seasoning, and prepare according to package directions. Add the cream cheese lid and simmer until the cheese melts. Mix well.Let it cool completely. While the burger is cooking, cook the pasta crusts, drain and toss well with the butter.
Pour the sauce into the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish.Fill each shell with meat mixture.Put the filled crust on the baking tray and spread the taco sauce on the surface of the crust.Cover the lid and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the lid and sprinkle the mashed potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese on top. Cook for another 15 minutes. Serve with sour cream, extra sauce, black olives, or whatever you think would go with your tacos!
