Beans cooked with ham hock

* Ingredients

°Some tranches of Ham hock
°1  sausage. 
°300 g of dried coconut beans. 
°400 g of natural tomato pulp. 
°3 carrots
°1 tablespoon (s) of olive oil. 
°1 clove of garlic, salt, pepper


1.Put the beans in a bowl, cover them widely with cold water and let them soak for 8 hours.

2. Ask your deli how long it takes for the pork knuckle to soak. Let it soak, covering it with plenty of cold water.

3.Drain the pork knuckle and put it in a saucepan. Cover with plenty of cold water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1 hour 40 minutes then add the sausage and cook for another 20 minutes. Add a little more water if necessary during cooking.

4.Drain the beans and put them in a pot; cover them with cold water and add the tomato pulp, sage leaves and oil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Then add the meat and sausage and cook for another 10 minutes or so over very low heat, until the beans are tender.

5.Serve the meat with the coconuts, as is.
