This slow-cooking chowder recipe featuring potatoes, pork, and vegetables is filling and nutritious!

Billy Blushing Potatoes, cut into cubes

Onion diced

Carrots, peeled and diced

Celery cut into cubes

minced garlic
°1 c. Tea
dried thyme

Pork, cubed
°1 (15 ounce) can
dried corn
°1 (32 ounce) can
Chicken broth
°2 cups

Instant Mashed Potato Chips

* Preparation :
Step 1 of 7
Cut small potatoes, onions, carrots and celery into cubes.
Step 2 of 7
Diced vegetables in slow cooker with minced garlic, ham, dried thyme, corn and chicken broth.
Step 3 of 7
Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
Step 4 of 7
Pour 2 cups of milk.

Depending on desired texture, add 1 to 2 cups of instant mashed potato chips. Start with 1 cup, stir, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes. If it is not thick enough, add more chips slowly. Do not exceed two cups.

Let the chowder cook for another 20 minutes on low heat. Season with desired amount of salt and pepper.
