Crab Joe’s Shack Crab Cakes – Incredible Recipe






This is a nutritious version of a great summer meal to serve on the patio!


*ingredients :

8 ounces (226 g) piece of canned crab meat, drained
1 c ricotta cheese
1 c breadcrumbs
1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped green onion
2 tbsp. (30 ml) mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. (2 ml) dry mustard
1/2 tsp. (2 ml) lemon juice
1/2 tsp.cayenne pepper
1/2 c garlic powder
1/4 tsp (2 ml) ground black pepper
8 crumbled soda crackers
1 c. 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vegetable oil
1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt
1 c. (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
1 c. (5 ml) lemon zest
1 c.  honey
1/4 c  chopped fresh cilantro

* Methods :

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, ricotta cheese, bread crumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, dry mustard, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper. Shape into 8 1/2-inch-thick patties, each containing 1/3 cup of the crabmeat mixture. Cover pancakes with crumbled biscuits.
Heat oil in  non-stick skillet on medium-low heat. Frying pancake, cover, 5 min perside, to golden brown.
In  bowl, whisk jointly yogurt, lemon juice, peel, honey, & freshly cilantro. Serve as an accompaniment to hot waffles..
