Mexican wedding Cookies

*Ingredients (6 people):

°180gm roasted unsalted almonds
°260 g flour
°60 gm powdered sugar
°°1/4 tsp. Teaspoon salt
°1 c. teaspoon ground cinnamon
°240 gm softened butter
°1 c. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

+To decorate:
°60 gm powdered sugar
°1 c. ground cinnamon

*Preparation:

Heat oven to 180 ° C.


Chop the almonds into very small pieces (but not powdered).


Combine the flour, powdered sugar, salt, cinnamon and almonds. Add butter and vanilla. Good mixing.


 

Form 24 balls and place them on baking sheets.



Bake for 20 minutes or more, until balls are slightly golden and slightly cracked.



Mix powdered sugar with cinnamon. Once the cookies have cooled enough to handle, roll them in this mixture.



Store for at least two weeks in an airtight container
