Cracker-Barrel-Chicken & dumplings

*ingredients :

°625 ml (2 12 cups) chicken broth
°1 1/2 c cook, shredded chicken
°250 ml (1 cup) frozen mixed vegetables
°5 ml (1 teaspoon) seasoned salt
°1 ml (1/4 teaspoon) pepper
°250 ml (1 cup) milk
°45 ml cornstarch
°175 ml (3/4 cup) gluten-free Bisquick mix
°1/3 cup (75 ml) milk
°30 ml (2 tablespoons) melted butter or ghee
°1 egg
°15 ml (1 tablespoon) fresh chopped parsley

* Steps :

In a 3-quart (3 L) saucepan, heat chicken stock, chicken, vegetables, salt, and pepper until boiling. In a small bowl, mix 250ml (1 cup) milk and cornstarch with the paddle attachment until a smooth paste forms, then stir in the chicken mixture. Heat it until boiling.

In a small bowl, mix the meatball ingredients well with a fork. Gently pour 8 tablespoons of the mixture into the simmering chicken mixture.

Cook uncovered over low heat for 10 minutes. Cover the mixture and cook for another 15 minutes.
