Crockpot Beef Tips & Gravy




* ingredients :

°1 small onion, sliced ​​into rings
°8 ounces baby paella mushrooms, sliced
°1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
°1 pound sirloin steak, sliced ​​with excess fat
°Salt and Pepper
°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
°½ cup dry red wine + 1 drop to defrost
°2 1/2 cups fat-free beef broth
°2 tbsp. Cornstarch + ½ c cold water

* Methods  :

Place the onions and mushrooms in the bottom of a 4.5-quart slow cooker.
Then heat oil in  skillet on to high heat. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper and add to the hot skillet. Roast the meat on all sides for about 3 minutes; Don't let it cook.
Placing meat in the slow cooker on vegetables.
Spray the hot skillet with a few tablespoons of red wine and scrape the bottom to remove the browned pieces. Add them to the slow cooker.
Seasoning beef again with pepper & adding Worcestershire sauce, red wine & broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
Uncovering & whisk slowly to cornstarch & water mixture. Covering also cooking on high heat for other 45 min or to sauce thickens.
Serving beef tips on brown rice (as shown), buttered egg noodles or mash potatoes.
