°2 lbs russet potatoes or any starchy potato, peeled finely grated
° 1 yellow onion, grated, very fine
° 2 eggs
° 1 teaspoon salt
° flour cup
° frying oil

*  instructions:

The first step:
After grating the potatoes, the usage of a towel, squeeze out all of the liquid from the potatoes properly
Place the tired potatoes in a massive bowl with the grated onion, salt, egg, and flour.
Mix it well together along with your hands, you need it to be quite tacky. Add a touch greater flour if it is too sticky
The 2nd step:
Heat three tablespoons of oil in a frying pan
Put 1 to at least one cup of the mixture into the recent skillet
Third step:
Fry for 3 to 5 mins on every facet till golden.
Drain in brief on paper towels
The fourth step:
Serve straight away while warm with applesauce and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, bitter cream, or maybe yogurt.
It also can be served with meat and broth, using it as a side dish.
