Grandma's Biscuits


°2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 tablespoon baking powder
° teaspoon salt
°1 tablespoon white sugar
°Half a cup of butter
°1 cup milk

* instructions:

Heat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
In  bowl, whisking flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Cut the ghee until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Stirring in the milk to dough pulls away from side of bowl.

Turn over on a floured surface and knead 15 to 20 times. Lift or rolling dough up to 1 inch thick. Cutting biscuits with  piece or a c of juice dipped in flour. Repeat until the dough runs out. Shake off the excess flour, and place the biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.Bake for 13 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven, or until edges begin to turn brown.
