Low-carb bacon burger casserole



•2 pounds minced meat
•2 cloves minced garlic
•½ teaspoon onion powder
•1 pound cooked bacon, cut into pieces
•8 eggs
•1 cup heavy whipping cream
•Half a teaspoon of salt
•Half teaspoon ground black pepper
•1 package (12 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium to high heat. Cook and stir beef with garlic and onion powder until brown and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and get rid of the grease.

Step 3: Spread the beef in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch casserole tray. Stir in bacon pieces.

Step 4: Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until well blended. Stir in 8 ounces of cheddar cheese.

Step 5: Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon. Top with 4 ounces of cheese.

Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.
